Planting a chip in the brain

In the flight from karachi to islamabad sitting next to me was a neurologist named Dr.Adeel Rehman who serves as a consultant in Shifa hospital Islamabad.

Among the various things that were discussed was planting a chip in the brain. This one started from placing smart chips in a child's brain which may contain the information which today's child takes months to understand. However i was made to realize the disadvantages that the body would face.

Next we discussed the paralysis caused due to the blood clots in the brain.
[paralysis reason here = failure of contact b/w brain and the organ. very much in relation to the nervous system]

We discussed that it was very much possible to plant a "dumb" conductor which would act as a bridge on the clot and transmit the signal from one part of the clot to the other, thus enabling a contact between the brain and the organ that has been disabled due the fact that the brain signals were not reaching it.

You see its very much possible. Its all electric current inside our body in the nervous system. The brains communicates with other parts of the body through electric signals so the communication gap will filled up by the conductor which will transmit the signals whenever it gets them, hence this option doesnt require and admin to control it nor a battery to keep it alive.

Although i know that there are many complications involved, but hey the idea is already functional around the globe. I found this out after i performed a research on this. There are companies which work on the brain chip that have transformed peoples' lives.
