Call center or PCO

A batchmate at the university works at a very reputable call center after his classes. We also have an "afridi" in our class.

On friday when the class got a bit longer than usual, Afridi asked the call center guy "O yar tera PCO nahin khul gaya ho ga?".

The look on the guys face was like "I'll kill you afridi".

Afridi: "So isnt that what you call these places? You guys make calls right?......"

Where was I, what happened, what is making news

Ahem. I was here all the time. Came back from Karachi on November 14th and since then it has been so very hectic that i have not been able to write anything.

[Karachi]
Outclass spending was the essense of vacations. Bills and more bills welcomed me in Islamabad. Couldnt make the most important decision with my family. They gave me the toughest time saying that it was up to me and they were happy with anything that i think was best for me.

[Islamabad]
Both office and university are at full throtle. Tension everywhere and 24 hours seeming not enough sometimes. I have missed a lot of classes due to the immense presure of work. Dont remember when i last went home on time. 11PM seems the usual thing now.

MCSD finally got over, with the final paper clearing.

Tahir and i have planned something for our own & company's good. Details later.

Most importantly, Ashar is leaving tonight. yes, for good. He has resigned to join a firm a Karachi and is heading home. I think it was this event which made me talk to Blogger again.
Wajih bhai and me are the only ones left in the group and i am a bit worried about being lonely.
Pata nahin kia hota hai

Currently, i wait for Scott Bloomer to complete the PX demo taking place in Texas. The last 5 days have been worse, with me working on this demo and taking care of the conversion project iteration 3. Missed my class of Mangement Principles once more and i bet that the project team at the unversity wont be the same in the next semester.

And oh yes, last night was another quake which woke us up at 3 in the morning and with extreme cold we had to stand out in the open with no protection and plus i left my glasses inside the room during the rush. We decided to get back to the room within 5 minutes of staying outside and prefered a chanced death by an aftershock rather than a confirmed death by the cold. :)

As the university management plans to start semester 2 in the second week of Jan, me also planning for my next leave on eid :p

They say Karachi is a happening city, well think again.......
