Nameless

Its been a long time since i have been in this state and have had this feeling.

Ahhhhh, long silence with nothing in my mind. I dont know why i like it so much. It used to happen itself earlier on. This is the first time that i have gone into it myself, just half an hour of shutting my mouth and thinking nothing and i was there.

Now i want to write. Write something that i have wanted to but wasnt able to due to the noise within. Its gone now but for sometime.

Fears and concerns of the alien city are no more. I still remember how tough it was for me to come to islamabad this time. It was never this tough to leave my family, i dont know what got me this time. I felt like telling bhai to take me back home when he was driving me to the airport but didnt do that. All that i could remember of what i told ammi during a rather not so very warm conversation that we had had the other day. I couldnt belive that i said that.

"Main wahan par khush hoon" were the exact words "Wahan par yeh panchaatain nahin hain" I continued.

I reached the airport got my boarding and again got into thinking the same thing. Same was the senario during flying. My eyes were full of guilt, i knew that if i were on a train i would have got off at the next station. "To hell with my job" were the thouhgts which came next and in a matter of no time i was thinking how to stand by my decision in front of the company management let alone reconsidering it right now.

Alghough i didnt do that but i dont know what made to not to. I never knew that i was such an emotional person. Hyper, yes i am but this much emotional ? no not me.

The whole week was very tough, i called home almost everyday and things cooled up with time. It gave me chils when i thought about going abroad Pakistan. Man, how tough would that be for me !

Cricket Rankings

Love cricket ?
here is a website that me and my friend (Bilal Ahmed) have worked on.

http://www.ikrankings.tk
(IE is recommended)

Much needs to be worked upon it but still i think that i gives a pretty decent show.

There is ranking for 2005, 2004 and the careers of teams, batsmen and bowlers. Do have a look at it and post your comments on the blog so that we can make it the way you like it.

A statement from Mr. Shaukat Aziz

Yesterday, i read a very odd statement from the Prime Minister in the papers.
He had stated that the government was trying to make a reduction in the petroleum prices and further that the prices were still lower than the "neighboring" country.

What I don’t seem to understand is that why we only compare ourselves with India in terms of the factors we are better than them and why is false impression always given to the ppl by comparing ourselves with India.

The PM is a very good financial analyst and I personally respect him a lot, but these statements don’t help. The ppl are not fools my dear PM we all know that the Indian rupee is much stronger than ours so this makes the price of petrol near equal does it not? Furthermore, Pakistan produces about 15% of its requirements in terms of these products which India does not. So if it’s said that the price of petrol is $50/Gallon it only applies to the rest of the 80% that is bought from the international market and certainly not of what is sucked up from our own soil.

Adding to this, any person who has the slightest interest in the economy of the country knows that we don’t buy oil from the South American states, our major sources are in the Middle East and Baluchistan gets some from Iran as well. So how come we buy oil at the rate which is in the London market? And not at the rates of the Middle East market?
We all know that the Pakistan gets discounted oil rates from Saudi Arabia as per its aid for Pakistan.

Its amazing, isn’t it that we only compare the prices of oil. The ex factory price of the cars in Pakistan and India have quite a difference between them

And why just go for the price thing, have we ever compared ourselves with India in terms of education? Have we ever compared their railways with ours? NEVER.

I am more than proud to be a Pakistani but for god's sake realize that such stupid statements should not come from such a responsible person. Realize that we are not the same ppl who trusted words without action, realize that we can differentiate between right and wrong.......
